?Our custom framing ranges from photos to artwork, jerseys, quilts and shadowboxes,? Kaylee Martinez of Marchand?s Framing and D?cor Gallery, said. ?Basically, if you can dream it, we can work with you to make it a reality!?
The framing process Marchand?s implements turns ordinary things into masterpieces. When guests arrive with an item that they would like to frame, Marchand?s walks step by step with them to choose the framing setup that works best for their piece. The rest of the customization is done inhouse with special equipment.
?There is a machine that cuts our mat boards out precisely to our measurements in less than a minute?it's very cool to watch!? Martinez said. ?We cut the glass and foam core board here as well, and then we piece it all together.?
In the future, Marchand?s hopes to expand with an additional 6,000 square feet to open up more space for a showroom. Doing this would make Marchand?s one of the most complete home centers in South Louisiana.
Along with the expansion, Marchand?s plans to start hosting more events for visitors.
